Dear Customer,

FAAC UK Covid-19 statement 17.03.20

We continue to monitor the developing situation with the Covid-19 outbreak. At the current time all the FAAC Group European factories are still producing at normal capacity, they have put measures in place to safeguard employees in order to keep production running as smoothly as possible. There are still no current issues with the supply of raw materials to the factories. Equally our logistics partners still are reporting no problems delaying the transport of finished goods to the UK.

The most recent news from the UK Government concerning the Covid-19 Virus, is for everyone to stop non-essential contact with others and to stop all unnecessary travel and people should start working from home where they can.

To both protect our staff and safeguard critical business activities we have decided that now is an appropriate time to take the following measures:

  1. The external sales team will be working from home, replacing face to face meetings with phone calls and webex meetings where possible
  2. All training courses are postponed until further notice
  3. Visits to the Basingstoke office from external customers or suppliers should be avoided
  4. An increased number of employees working from home.

In order for us to provide the best level of customer service with the reduced number of people in the office we would request that customers place their orders using our online ordering portal, faacpartner.co.uk if you don't currently have a password set up please contact marketing@faac.co.uk

We also ask that you choose to email in the first instance instead of ringing the office.

This is currently not affecting day to day business activity, we will still be operating at full capacity. If the situation does change, we will email our customers to inform them of the latest situation and any actions to be taken, however at the moment it is a case of business as usual, but with a heavier reliance on the technology we have available to us.
