It all started in 2003, with the ambition to innovate and disrupt the PR industry. Since then, the digital landscape has continued to grow, becoming a vital part of the media industry and society as a whole. Relevance (getting the right message to reach the right person, at the right time) has never been more important. The same applies to finding the right relations in order to break through the clutter and engage in important conversations, gaining reach and creating awareness. And to us, awareness is just as much about getting recognition as a brand, as it is about understanding and adding perspective of a certain topic or opinion. Today Mynewsdesk has over 4 000 customers, 80 000 news stories are published every year, and has 1.6 million unique visitors on its site each month. All of the content created, published, shared and refined here has a real impact on society.

    A chocolate company decided to host an event – at Harvard Law School. Why? Because the two organizations had something in common. 🤝 The chocolate company could have participated in a food fair or parked a food truck on the street to sell their chocolate. Instead, they chose to host an event at Harvard Law School. 🏫 They wanted to focus on their mission: improving the standards in the cocoa industry by promoting ethical sourcing and fair labor practices. 🍫 This was the reason why the chocolate company was founded in the first place, after a Dutch journalist published an investigative story on the harsh work conditions in the cocoa industry. 📰 And Harvard Law School was a great setting for discussing business and human rights. The event helped raise awareness about the company's mission among a wider audience. 💡 It is one example of many where the brand, Tony's Chocolonely, has led by example as a thought leader.     On Wednesday night, we had the privilege of attending the annual gala hosted by Sveriges Kommunikatörer, Sweden's professional association for communicators. It was a truly inspiring evening that celebrated our community's collective achievements. Here are just a few (of the many) highlights: 🌟 Our CEO, Louise Barnekow, took to the pulpit—not to preach—but to emphasize the crucial role of communicators in facilitating an informed dialogue in society. 🏆 Mynewsdesk was proud to present the 'Influence Prize' to the PEAB team, recognizing their strong communication initiatives that have driven real change. 🌍 Applauding the ‘Future Prize’ winner, Hässleholm Miljö AB Miljö, whose ‘Garbage Collector Monsters’ project has had a significant impact on local sustainability.
